- How to contact us
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information — your mobile phone number and/or email address, and a display name if you choose to set one.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We receive a payment token, the last four digits of your card, the card brand, the expiration month and year, and the result of the transaction. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
- Customer support communications — the contents of messages you send us and our replies.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Transaction and usage information — which machine you started, at which location, the cycle you selected, start and end times, and the amount charged.
- Device information — device model, operating system and version, app version, language and region settings, and a device identifier used to deliver push notifications.
- Approximate location — if you grant location permission, we use your device's location to show nearby ROBI Wash locations. This is optional; the app works without it, and you can turn the permission off at any time in your device settings.
- Diagnostic information — crash reports, error logs, and basic performance data used to find and fix defects.

1.4 Information we do not collect
We do not collect biometric identifiers, your contacts, your photo library, health information, precise background location, or the content of your communications other than what you send to our support team.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and maintain your account, and let you start and pay for laundry cycles;
- process payments, prevent duplicate charges, and issue receipts;
- send you notifications about your cycle status and important service messages;
- provide customer support and respond to your questions;
- monitor machine health, diagnose faults, and improve reliability and performance;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, machine tampering, abuse, and other unlawful activity;
- maintain accounting, tax, and other records we are required by law to keep;
- enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights, our customers, and the public.
We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
3. How we share information
We disclose personal information only to service providers that process it on our behalf and under written contract, and only as needed to run the Services:
- Payment processors — to authorize, settle, and refund card payments, and to investigate disputes and chargebacks.
- Cloud hosting and database providers — to store data and operate the Services.
- Push notification providers — Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver notifications to your device.
- Communications providers — to send verification codes, service emails, and text messages.
- Crash reporting and product analytics providers — to find and fix defects.
- Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, and auditors, under confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose personal information:
- to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request from a government authority;
- to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of ROBI Wash, our customers, or the public; and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business — in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
4. No sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold it in the preceding 12 months. We also do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not process it for targeted advertising as defined under other state privacy laws. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
5. How long we keep information
- Account information — while your account is active, and up to 12 months after you delete it, to resolve disputes and chargebacks.
- Transaction and payment records — as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law, generally seven years.
- Diagnostic and crash data — up to 12 months.
- Customer support correspondence — up to 24 months after the matter is closed.
We may keep information longer where we are required to do so by law or where it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
6. Your privacy rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access and correct your account information in the app under Settings.
- Delete your account at any time — see Section 8.
- Turn off location access in your device settings at any time.
- Turn off push notifications in your device settings or in the app.
- Opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. We will still send transactional messages about your account and cycles.
To make a privacy request, email robiwash.app@gmail.com or call (857) 919-7433. We will verify your identity by confirming control of the phone number or email address associated with your account before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity directly.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you Services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of service because you made a privacy request.
7. State-specific rights
7.1 California
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
- request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you;
- request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of;
- limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect it; and
- not be retaliated against for exercising these rights.
We will respond to a verified request within 45 days, and may extend once by an additional 45 days with notice to you. You may make a request twice in any 12-month period at no charge.
7.2 Other state privacy laws
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others as they take effect — have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. We do not engage in targeted advertising, sale, or profiling.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing robiwash.app@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to an appeal within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
7.3 Nevada
Nevada residents may direct us not to sell certain personal information. We do not sell personal information, but you may submit a request to robiwash.app@gmail.com.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the ROBI Wash app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing robiwash.app@gmail.com from the address on your account. Deletion removes your profile, saved payment token, and usage history, other than records we are required to retain for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
9. Security
We protect personal information using encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, least-privilege access for staff, and regular review of our systems and vendors. Card data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors and is never stored on our servers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at robiwash.app@gmail.com.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact robiwash.app@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels. Because we do not track users across sites, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and there is no sale or sharing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of.
Our website loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
12. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to third-party websites or services we do not control, including the Apple App Store and Google Play. This Policy does not apply to those services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.
13. Users outside the United States
The Services are operated from the United States and are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your personal information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app, by email, or by a prominent notice on this website before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
